Jasmin, one of the Boutiques at Jungle Jim's, will host a book signing by Cincinnati native, foodie, and amateur cook Cheri Brinkman on Sunday May 6, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Cheri will be signing her two books, Cincinnati and Soup: Recipes from the Queen City and Great Soup and Cincinnati and Soup: A Second Helping.
Cheri’s books not only offer secrets to cooking Cincinnati favorites such as goetta, Cincinnati chili, and mock turtle soup, but also explore Cincinnati’s history through the classic recipes of Ruth Lyons, Pogue's, and Shillito's. Also featured are some of Cheri's favorite Cincinnati style family recipes. Cincinnati and Soup: A Second Helping offers recipes and history from our beloved neighbors to the south in Northern Kentucky as well.
