It's that time of year again. Time for the spring ritual for high school kids called Prom. Prom dresses can be very expensive, making it difficult for some girls to find a dress they can afford. Cinderella's Closet is a way that girls can get that special gown for only $25, and help others in the process. All proceeds from the sale go to La Casa of Livingston County which helps victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence.

Hundreds of dresses in all sizes and colors are available for the girls to try on in a boutique like setting at Snedicor's Green Earth Cleaners in Brighton. Dates of the Prom sale this year are the weekends of April 24-April 26, and May 1-May 3. On Thursdays and Fridays of the sale dresses will be available from 3-8 p.m, and on Saturdays from 11 am- 4 pm. Girls who sign the "My Promise" will be entered to win great raffle prizes. Dress scholarships are available if needed.

Snedicors Green Cleaners is located at 8688 Grand River Avenue in Brighton. More information about Cinderellas closet can be found on the La Casa website, If you have a dress you would like to donate, they are accepting gently used gowns and party dresses at both the Brighton and Howell Snedicor's locations.
