Dave Prowse, the Sith Lord Darth Vader himself, will be making his Cincinnati convention debut at the Cincy Comic Expo. The 5th annual comic convention proudly announced his addition to their guest list Tuesday, February 25.

Prowse played Darth Vader for all 3 installments of the original trilogy of “Star Wars”. Watch the video to the left to see how he found out his voice was over dubbed by James Earl Jones and his reaction. Prowse, a champion bodybuilder, made a huge impression on the big screen despite the dark lords draped attire. Cincinnati Comic Expo founder, Andrew Satterfield remembers his reaction to Prowse as Vader:

“I recall the first time seeing Star Wars at the local Dent Drive-In. The scene where Darth Vader walks through the rebel blast doors and interrogates the rebels was terrifying. However, I couldn't take my eyeballs off the screen.”

Dave Prowse is a common guest to European sci-fi conventions. However, he is a rare guest in the US. Prowse hand picks his appearances and the Cincinnati Comic Expo, September 19-21, 2014 made his selective schedule this year. Satterfield says:

“We are honored the Sith Lord himself chose the 5th annual Cincinnati Comic Expo.”
