Cantina Beach at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne invites you to an early celebration of Cinco de Mayo on the evening of Saturday, May 3, 2014. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can feast your eyes on colorful entertainment like mariachis along with high-flying performances and even stilt walkers. There will also be a DJ there to make sure you’re gettin’ in the groove and the complimentary salsas bites will keep you more than satisfied.
If you haven’t been to Cantina Beach yet, many say it’s the best Mexican food in Miami – and there’s no denying that it definitely boasts the best view of a Mexican restaurant in South Florida. Can you say, “Oceanfront dining?” Locals and visitors alike have a love affair with Cantina Beach, and Chef Andres Parlange is a big reason. He is a Mexican magician of the culinary kind, creating dishes that will amaze your taste buds (and you in turn make your food disappear). During this early celebration of Cinco de Mayo, you’ll be able to nibble on salsa bites from their live culinary display, think of savory bites like Tacos al Pastor, Tacos Arabes and Cochinita Pibil.
And even if you’re not a fan of tequila, you should expand your tequila horizons while here and try the largest collection in the region – namely 110 tequilas. You can also meet Heriberto Oviedo, their Tequilier, who will introduce you to a world of tequila that you may have never known existed. He’ll also unveil the Casa Herradura double barrel reposado tequila that has been hand-selected and made exclusively for Cantina Beach. This is the restaurant’s third exclusive tequila.
Diners of Cantina Beach can also dine on the regular dinner menu on this special evening and parking validation is available. No reservations are necessary so grab a friend, or five, and enjoy Cinco de Mayo, oceanside! For more information or to view their menu, log on to www.ritzcarlton.com/keybiscayne.
