Cincinnati Riverfront is coming back: Banks project gets 4 new restaurants

The Banks development on the Cincinnati Riverfront just got some great news this week. The Master Development Team of Carter and The Dawson Company announced Monday, January 10th that they had signed four new tenants for the project. The Downtown Riverfront will soon be a destination once again.

According to the press release four new restaurants have signed leases following the announcement of Toby Keith’s, I Love This Bar & Grill. These new restaurants will add a large variety of dining and entertainment for the Riverfront. The new restaurants include:

  • Holy Grail Tavern & Grill – UC fans will recognize the sports bar concept from the popular pre-game Clifton destination. The Holy Grail will offer a traditional tavern fare including their signature Reubon Wontons, award winning wings, and Blueberry Grail Ale.
  • Huey’s 24/7 Diner – A 24 hour eatery with tradition diner menu along with Big Easy favorites such as a shrimp etouffee, jambalaya, and red beans & rice.
  • La Crepe Nanou – This romantic dating destination will offer a French menu including signature crepes, cheese fondue, and moules fritas.
  • Wine Loft – This upscale wine bar will offer over 70 wines by the glass and over 250 by the bottle. They also have an international cuisine.

“These announcements further our plan to create a fun place that’s always happening and

offers something for everyone,” said Trent Germano, The Banks’ developer.  “Each concept

brings a unique experience that when combined will create a dynamic, entertaining and fun

place to be.”

Huey’s, La Crepe Nanou, and The Wine Loft are all concepts owned and operated by the Doyle Restaurant Group based in Louisiana. The Holy Grail Tavern & Grill is a locally owned concept with locations in Correyville near the University of Cincinnati and on the West Side in Covedale.
