Cincinnati Reds open season ticket sales today

The 2013 Cincinnati Reds opened up ticket sales this morning at 9 a.m. Excluding tickets for the opening game on April 3, fans can purchase tickets for other games. The Reds will offer 15 post-game fireworks games and 5 bobblehead games.

The bobbleheads for the 2013 season include: Brandon Phillips, Aroldis Chapman, Mat latos, Todd Frazier and Joey Votto. Fans can visit the Reds website for bobblehead nights.

Fans can purchase tickets online at reds.com or in person at Great American Ballpark. The Reds will also use a dynamic pricing model, which adjust prices based on days of the week, weather and availability. The Reds will also offer Sunday Family Days and Senior Citizen deals.

The Reds have regular season games scheduled against defending the World Champions San Francisco Giants. The Reds will also face the California Angels, who recently acquired former Red Josh Hamilton.

This year’s club re-signed key players they will need to make a deep push into the playoffs. The starting pitching rotation is a formidable one that should keep them in contention. Last year’s club won 97 games and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the San Francisco Giants.

Additional information about the Reds and purchasing tickets can be found at Reds.com.
