The Cincinnati Bengals announced their latest roster moves today. The team placed DT Geno Atkins on the Reserve/Injured list after he tore his ACL in last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. He has six sacks for the season. The Bengals had also signed free agent DT Christo Bilukidi, who was waived by the Oakland Raiders on October 23. He has one sack for the season.
After signing Bilukidi, the NFL notified the Bengals that Bilukidi, a Canadian, didn’t have authorized documentation to work in the United States. Apparently, he wasn’t permitted to transfer his work permit to the Bengals, which voided his contract.
After completing the appropriate documents, he can return to the NFL. The Bengals have also signed rookie LB Bruce Taylor to their practice squad.
