On today's episode of "The View," host Barbara Walters got to ask the question many fans had been wanting to know: Are Ciara and her fiance Future expecting a little one?

Ciara, wearing a loose-fitting, fashionable dress-and-jacket outfit stood up, smiled and showed off the bulge in her belly on Tues., Jan. 14.

Looks like comedian, co-host Whoopi Goldberg had an inside scoop (or felt the baby bump when they hugged) because she immediately corrected Ciara when the R&B singer said "2013 was like the best year of my life." Whoopi Goldberg countered with "So far."

Ciara did have quite a year in 2013 with her Billboard-charting hits from her self-titled album. "Body Party" peaked at no. 22 and spent 20 weeks on the chart. "I'm Out" featuring rapper Nicki Minaj peaked at no. 44 and spent five weeks on the charts.

She also confirmed on "The View" that after getting engaged in 2013 she plans to get married to Future this year.

Her long-time fans may still be rocking out to her top 10 hits "Get Up" (peaked at no. 7, spent 20 weeks on the charts), "So What" (peaked at no. 10, spent 21 weeks on the charts), "Like You" featuring ex-boyfriend/rapper Bow Wow (peaked at no. 3, spent 21 weeks on the charts), "Lose Control" featuring Missy Elliott and Fat Man Scoop (peaked at no. 3, spent 28 weeks on the charts), "Oh" featuring Ludacris (peaked at no. 2, spent 23 weeks on the charts), "1, 2 Step" featuring Missy Elliott (peaked at no. 2, spent 39 weeks on the charts), and "Goodies" featuring Petey Pablo (peaked at no. 1, spent 38 weeks on the charts).
