The adult beverage industry is booming in New York State. So much so that it sometimes is difficult to keep track of all the producers.
Representatives of beer, wine and spirits companies, suppliers and Empire State Development will discuss the challenges and growth opportunities available in the current beverage industry. The event is being sponsored by the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation.
Key speakers will be Patrick Hooker, deputy secretary to the governor for agriculture, and Dennis Rosen, chairman of the State Liquor Authority, discussing state and federal industry policies, the new "Taste NY" initiative, building the hops and cider business, expanding beverage trails and unveiling New York’s one-stop-shop economic development program.
