Former CIA Chief Intelligence Officer Michael Scheuer announced his endorsement of Ron Paul. As you will see in the video Michael explains thoroughly why Ron Paul’s foreign policy is accurate and the best for America.

What is baffling to me and to many others is how Republicans like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and personalities like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage all criticize Ron Paul’s foreign policy views. They say he doesn’t like Israel but Ron Paul has never said that. These “chicken hawk’s” or “warmonger’s” don’t seem to understand foreign policy very well. lets take a listen to what Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on the House floor not too long ago when addressing Congress.

How can one claim to be pro Israel and then dismiss the Israeli Prime Minister when he says Israel doesn’t need our help? It’s kind of like the government telling you how to be a parent when you already know how to and then telling you it’s because they care. The founders had some genius quotes. It was Thomas Paine who said “That government is best which governs least.” This is Ron Paul’s philosophy. Why do so many blindly led Republicans need someone to take care of them? If that be the case then why do they criticize Democrats? Why not join the Democrats if you need someone to take care of you? President Obama is sending troops to Israel right now. Are Republicans confused?

The Republican (conservative) philosophy has always been to do for your self. When a conservative rejects the notion of welfare or nanny state it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care. As the old parable goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In other words learn to do for your self. Why are the mainstream Republicans now advocating the nanny state? Something to think about if you hope to keep your freedoms in tact. You can’t have both.
