Churchill Downs will simulcast the Breeder's Cup World Championships during the racetrack's Fall Meet for the first time since 1999.
The 14 races and $25.5 million prize money from Santa Anita supplement two live racing days with 10 races each day, including three stakes: Friday's 17th running of the $100,000 Ack Ack Handicap (G. III) and Saturday’s $60,000 Dream Supreme and the 24th running of the $150,000 Chilukki (G. II).
Both days, gates open at 11:30 a.m. with the first post at 12:40 p.m. The simulcast from Santa Anita begins at 2:15 p.m. today and at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday with the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic (G. I) slated for 6:45 p.m. tomorrow.
