Eric Church talks fake feud with Taylor Swift: 'I love Taylor', 'we're buds'

There are always a few random rivalries in country music. On Wednesday, Rolling Stone shared what Eric Church had to say in a recent interview about Taylor Swift. And the truth is that he doesn't hate her, no matter what people may think.

Once upon a time, Swift made a little joke that she wanted to thank Church for getting kicked off the Rascal Flatts tour. It helped her career because she got his spot, but it didn't mean she didn't like him.

When asked about Taylor in a recent interview, Church said:

I love Taylor. I love her art her creatively, we're buds. All of a sudden I'm calling out Taylor, and it couldn't have been farther from the truth. It was the most insane thing. It was so blown out of proportion. I've never had anything that blown out of proportion. The reason we took it down was I didn't like how the dialog was starting to shift to stalkers – the dialog went there. And I didn't like that dialog. It was never intended. Taylor and I laughed about it later. My son [two-year-old Boone] knows who she is when she comes on TV. He calls her Aunt Tay Tay. I told her that, she loved it."

Church has been getting a hard time for comments that he has made in the past. Sometimes he doesn't think before he speaks. This comment is one that will help him look better for his fans and that is just what he needs for his career.

The real truth is that Swift and Church really don't have any bad blood at all. These two country artists are just fine with one another and will continue to get along.
