Jake E’s Riding Round Up, a therapeutic equine-assisted facility in East Texas, is hosting a Chuck Wagon Dinner on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at their facility in an effort to raise funds for the non-profit’s services and programs. Tickets for the fundraiser have been sold by staff and volunteers over the last month, with more than 200 attendees including clients, supporters and donors expected to head east to the Jake E’s Chuck Wagon Dinner this Saturday for a night of western fun.

"We have a few tickets still available for the Chuck Wagon Dinner this Saturday for $30.00 each," says Jake E's Riding Round Up Founder and Executive Director Jana Ewing. "People should just give us a call at 972.962.2828 and have their credit card ready if they still want tickets. We have space for about fifteen more people this year. It is going to be an amazing night."

The gates will open at 3:00 pm for the enjoyment of all Chuck Wagon Dinner attendees. Hayrides, a live auction, horseshoes and cowboy coffee will be available while attendees enjoy the facility, petting barn and horses of Jake E's Riding Round Up.

At 5:00 p.m. the actual Chuck Wagon Dinner will kick-off with a trinity dove release in honor of Jacob Eli Ewing, the son of Ewing and inspiration for the facility. "In the past we have always released a single dove in Jacob's honor with just our family. We decided this year to make it a public event," says Ewing in honor of her son's life, and his death in April of 2010.

The Log Cabin Square Dancers will be making a special appearance this year at the Jake E's fundraiser, then the crews of two authentic Chuck Wagons will begin serving dinner. Attendees will locate their favorite hay bale around multiple campfires, enjoy their meal and prepare to be entertained by Country Christian Singer John Randolph during the evening.

An old fashion night of fun, food and friends gathered around a campfire with a little fundraising mixed in is what the Jake E's 2014 Chuck Wagon Dinner is all about on Saturday, April 26. For more information, call 972.962.2828.

2014 Chuck Wagon Dinner Sponsors include: Calabria & Calabria, First Community Church, Life Church of Kaufman, Madix, Inc., JS Helwig & Sons, LLC and Deen Implement Co.
