Chuck Norris, another muscle man and martial arts hero of the 80s has one-upped Jean Claude Van Damme's split on two Volvo trucks. Norris does his split between two planes in mid-flight with a crowd of people balancing on his head. This latest video spoof is worth taking a gander at above.
According to E Online on Dec. 20, Norris, who is 73, decided to get on the band wagon of the Van Damme split spoofs and he certainly out did him in showmanship.
The video, which was created by Delov Digital, an Hungarian animation firm, is titled "Greetings From Chuck (the epic Christmas split)." First the camera starts with a close-up shot of Norris' face but after that the camera pans out to show Norris standing between two planes, one foot on each wing. Walker is standing in the same manner as Van Damme is on his Volvo Truck commercial.
Norris then goes down into the split as the planes slowly move farther apart from each other. This is just like the split that Van Damme did. Van Damme's video is titled, "most epic of splits" as two speeding Volvo trucks slowly move away from each other so Van Damme's split gets to the epic stage.
Unlike Van Damme, Norris took it to the air and a step further. He has 11 servicemen balancing on top of his head standing in the shape of a Christmas tree. Christmas lights weaved throughout the men light up right before the message "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" flashes above them all.
Another famous face got into the "epic split" act last month. Channing Tatum did his split between two shopping carts. Two movie production assistants pushed the shopping carts until the "epic split" left Tatum rolling around on the floor in pain. It was hilarious!
