Chuck a Puck for Helping Hands with the Las Vegas Wranglers

Join Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) on March 2nd for the Las Vegas Wranglers' hockey game and help fight senior hunger in Las Vegas. The Chuck a Puck program allows fans to purchase pucks to throw onto the ice during the intermission at the home game for a chance to win LV Wranglers' prizes. A portion of each $10 ticket sold goes to HHOVV as well as a percentage of the Chuck a Puck sales.

Helping Hands of Vegas Valley is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide free, assistive services to senior citizens in Southern Nevada, allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence. HHOVV provides transportation services, food pantry services and respite care vouchers, a lot of which is provided for by volunteers. HHOVV's free programs are designed to ensure that seniors have access to services that will aid them in remaining healthy and independent.

HHOVV is always looking for volunteers and various opportunities exists for people who can spare some of their time to help out community seniors. All types of volunteers are welcome: Groups, families, individuals. From one time commitments to long term commitments; opportunities vary from volunteer drivers to office support.
