Emmy Award, Tony Award, and Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer will star in the play A Word or Two at Ahmanson Theatre from Sunday Jan. 19 through Sunday, Feb. 9.

Originally from Canada, the 84 year-old continues to make his mark in American cinema and theatre. Plummer is known for acting in many popular films such as Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Inside man, The Insider, Disney-Pixar film character Charles Munch in Up and The Return of the Pink Panther to name a few.

A Word or Two showcases Plummer's one man act, displaying his love for poetry. Plummer has confessed his love for words to publications such as the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Growing up reading books by Shakespeare, Rudyard Kipling and Lewis Carroll along with many others, Plummer gives his wisdom and interpretation of the work inspired from these different artist.

A Word or Two is special presentation out of eight productions schedule by the Center Theatre Group this year.
