Christopher Nolan to produce 'Justice League'

Incredible news hit the web last night, and comic fans everywhere should rejoice.

Latino Review, that is almost always spot on with its claims, is stating that not only is director Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight”) taking on a Godfather role to the DC Universe (like Joss Whedon (“The Avengers”) is doing for Marvel), but that he will produce the upcoming “Justice League” film with “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder.

Zack Snyder (“The Watchmen”) is also being considered to direct the big-budget super hero mash-up (apparently the studio executives are more than thrilled with his work on the new Superman film).

Add to this that it is being reported that the studios, and Nolan, are in negotiations and discussions to bring Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) back as Batman to join the new Superman Henry Cavill (“The Count of Monte Cristo”).

Latino Review is claiming that the studio might take this from being a “Justice League” film and make it a “World’s Finest” film (which in the comic book world means it is just Batman and Superman together).

If this news ends up true in any capacity it will renew my faith in this upcoming film since recently Warner Bros. threw out the script written by Will Beale (“Gangster Squad”).
