Christophe Szpajdel showcase hits San Antonio - Saturday, March 29

Famed metal logo artist Christophe Szpajdel (pronounced "Shpydel") is coming all the way from Europe to host a special showcase in support of his new book, Lord of Logos. Szpajdel has reportedly drawn over 10,000 death and black metal band logos in his career, primarily in traditional pen and ink, including the much-seen Emperor logo, along with the equally infamous Graveland logo, among countless others. If you own any European black metal release from before the year 2000, you've seen his work.

Bonds 007 in San Antonio will not only host an exhibit of Szpajdel's logos and artwork, but a blistering lineup of bands will be on hand to serve as the soundtrack to the impressive visuals on hand. New Jersey black metallers Abazagorath will serve as the evening's headliner, while Texan hordes Obeisance, Blaspherian, Burial Shroud, Plutonian Shore, and Emperial Massacre will appear in support.

Between the artwork, the bands, and the man himself, this is a rare event, one that celebrates metal and the visual artistry that has made it one of the most compelling musical genres in history. Join us!
