Waltz had already won similar awards from the British Film Academy, the Screen Actors Guild, the Golden Globes, the New York Film Critics Circle, and the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.
Inglourious Bastards has also received nominations for Best Picture, Best Director and Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino, as well as Cinematography (Robert Richardson), Editing (Sally Menke), Sound Editing (Wylie Stateman), and Sound Design.
Waltz will be seen in the film version of The Green Hornet later this year, and in Water for Elephants in 2011.
