Spending Christmas with triplets after losing four babies has one family very thankful this year. The Mitchell's lost four babies because Anna had three ectopic pregnancies but she and her husband, Nick, welcomed healthy triplets just in time for Christmas. On Dec. 16, NewsOXY reported that Anna had a successful pregnancy following a round of IVF earlier this year.
"We haven’t bothered decorating our house for years, as there was just the two of us and no children to fill it. But this Christmas we have three wonderful little reasons to decorate the house from top to toe with baubles, tinsel and lights," said Nick Mitchell, father to triplets Summer, Joseph, and Jacob.
Having Christmas with triplets after losing four babies is such a blessing for the Mitchell family. They have spent the last few years desperately trying to start a family but each time has been heartbreaking, frightening, and life-threatening.
"It was life-threatening to me to lose these babies as each time my fallopian tube could have burst. It was devastating, it was taking away some of the chance I would have to be a mum," Anna said of her pregnancy struggles. This year, however, things are very different and the Mitchell's are thrilled to celebrate this holiday with their very own Christmas miracles.
Celebrating Christmas with triplets after losing four really is a miracle and this Christmas story, like most, has a happy ending.
