Christmas TreeFarms in Southern California

Cutting down your own Christmas tree can be a fun family tradition that leaves lasting memories, and a kid-friendly activity which propels your family into the holiday spirit.

As a helpful tip, always call the farm before you go. This is a seasonal business with small operations; supply, and hours can change. Farms can be either teeny-tiny or large and amusement park-like, but typically you can expect that saws and equipment will be provided, shaking (getting rid of those pesky spiders that might be living inside) and tree wrapping. Most farms will either sell or provide for free cut branches for greens along with wreaths and garland along with hot cider or chocolate and perhaps some holiday crafts.

In order to transport your tree home, don’t forget a sheet of plastic or an old blanket to cover the roof of your car, as well as rope or a bungee cord to secure the tree.
