For drop off times, days and to check if the locations listed will accept Christmas trees this year for recycling, Houstonians are welcome to dial 311 for more information. To be accepted, the trees must be cleaned of any Christmas tree decorations: ornaments, lights, tinsel, etc., before placing them curbside or dropping them off at a recycling center. Houstonians can also call 311 to find out if their neighborhood participates in Christmas tree curbside recycling. Another place to find recycling drop of centers is Earth911.
