Just as the name implies. Christmas Town is a celebration of the holiday, with Santa and Mrs. Claus, snowball tossing, snow slides for tubing, carols, light shows, a performance by Sesame Street's Elmo, a Madagascar show, and even an angel-themed ice show. Click the video accompanying this article to get a flavor of the event.
Christmas Town starts at 6 p.m. (after the park closes for the day) and runs until 11 p.m. The only problem is that there's so much to see that it's almost impossible to see it all. Many of the major rides are open during the event, but you'll probably want to skip them so you can focus on the special activities.
There's special food and drink available during the evening, so you can easily make a night of it. Enjoy a turkey pot pie, spiral sliced ham, some gingerbread, and even a cup of pumpkin-flavored coffee to warm you up if the temperatures drop now that winter is officially here.
Order your tickets in advance if you plan to visit over the next three days. If you don't come on December 21, 22, or 23, you'll have to wait until next year.
