Christmas in the Valley, Bates Nut Farm

Head out to the Bates Nut Farm on Saturday, December 14, 2013 for the 3rd annual "Christmas in the Valley" celebration.

Santa will arrive by helicopter at 11:30 a.m.

This free event is sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center and Valley View Casino and includes activities for the entire family. There will be vendors on hand so you can finish your Christmas shopping.

The first 1,000 children to attend will receive free "Christmas in the Valley" t-shirts.

Children can build their own gingerbread house and enter their creation in the 1st annual Gingerbread House Contest to win cash prizes. The winning gingerbread houses will be displayed at Bates Nut Farm for the duration of the Christmas season.

Saturday Schedule

10:15 a.m. - Living Nativity
10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. - Gingerbread Crafts & Story Time
11:00 a.m. - Classical Academy
11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. - Photo Booth
11:30 a.m. - Santa arrives by helicopter!
11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. - Polar Express hayride
12:15 p.m. - Living Nativity
12:35 p.m. - Gingerbread House Winners Announced
1:00 p.m. - High School Choir
2:00 to 3:00 p.m. - Carolers

Bates Nut Farm is located at 15954 Woods Valley Road, Valley Center, CA.
