Middletown's I Have a Friend Youth Center held its Christmas party last Saturday. The event included a visit from Santa Clause who passed out presents to many of the students.

All students received presents that were donated by the sponsors of the center, especially Mercy High School. They collected $1,870 to buy toys for the children at I Have a Friend Youth Center in Middletown, where they also tutor students throughout the school year. Click for Mercy On ITowns

Mercy students also sang Christmas songs to entertain all the students and volunteers during the event.

Fr. Sam Fuller from St. Pius X Church read to the students a gospel about Jesus’ birthday and informed them about the "True Meaning of Christmas." After his presentation, he blessed many students, faculty staff, and volunteers.

Dinner and desserts were served to all who were attending the event. It was a wonderful evening and thank you Barbara Miller for all you do for this organization.
