Christmas kitchen creative movement for children

See also

Christmas is the season traditional family recipes are prepared and enjoyed. Many kitchen utensils are used in the cooking/baking process. The way the body has to move to use the different utensils can be translated into a great creative movement activity. The children can pretend "to be" the utensil and move as it moves (such as roll like a rolling pin, shake like a sifter, etc). The children can also play a guessing game. One child can move as if he/she is using an imaginary utensil while the others guess the type of utensil.
