Christmas trees are going up in stores and houses throughout our community. Wouldn’t it be great if we knew that every child in Polk County would be getting a visit from Santa Claus? Sadly, we know that’s not going to happen. A struggling economy continues to hamper the efforts of parents to make ends meet.
The Rockmart Police Department sponsors “Christmas is for Kids” each year to help address this need. This year, they will again partner with “Toys for Tots” and Floyd EMS to meet the needs of the children in our community. All monetary and toy donations will remain in this area.
Last year, through your generosity, the "Christmas is for Kids" project was able to help more than 240 children in the Rockmart-Aragon area. Because of your donations, many of our local children woke up Christmas morning to presents under the tree, which may not have otherwise gotten anything.
Please make a difference in a child’s Christmas this year by making a monetary donation. Any donation amount will be appreciated. Please make checks payable to:

Toys may also be dropped off at the Rockmart Police Department ot any "Toys for Tot" box located throughout the county.
