Make Your Own Christmas Gift Tags
This is fun, easy and will save you money! Pick a day or night to sit down with your children, family or friends and make gift tags for all of your gifts.
Supplies to have on hand:
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Rubber stamps (Christmas pictures)
- Stamp pads
- Glue or sticky tabs
- Colored pencils
Let’s get started!
Cut or rip a piece of colored paper into a 1x2 inch rectangle.
Cut or rip a smaller piece of paper to fit onto the 1x2 inch rectangle. You want to see the color of the larger piece around the smaller piece.
Glue the smaller paper onto the larger. You can glue it straight or crooked.
Stamp a picture onto the smaller piece of paper.
Color it in with pencils.
Stamp with a “To / From, stamp or write it in if you do not have a stamp.
You can use all different colors of paper and make your tags lager than the size I recommended.
That’s all that is to it! Make a bunch of tags as you talk and drink coffee and hot chocolate. Play some Christmas music to make it more festive.
You can do this months in advance to have them ready for gift wrapping.
