Christmas fun continues at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando

See also

Christmas is literally just around the corner, and the holiday fun continues at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, near International Drive and the convention center. This weekend there's one more day of the Winter Wonderland Fest (December 21), which then gives way to the 1st Annual European Winter Fair on Sunday.

Click the video accompanying this article for scenes from the Winter Wonderland Fest. It features a special appearance by the Rosen reindeer, along with a train ride, singing, hot cocoa, visits with Santa, photo opportunities, costumed characters, and more. The video also includes other holiday happenings at Rosen, like ballet in the lobby by the Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance.

The European Winter Fair features gift and craft booths, along with food, cocktails, chocolate workshops, cookie decorating, card making, and other fun hands-on activities.

You can easily walk down to the Christmas festivities if you're staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Otherwise, it's easily accessible off 528, so you can pop over and make an evening of it if you're a local or are staying at another hotel and want a nice change of pace. The events are both family friendly, so bring the kids over for some holiday fun.

The Gaylord Palms is another great resort to visit at Christmas. Jump to this article to read about Ice!, their major attraction.
