Clevelanders, here's your chance to experience a country Christmas when Schrock's Amish Farm and Village and 'Tis the Season Christmas store (the largest Christmas store in Ohio) in Berlin offer their family-friendly annual "Christmas Down on the Farm" celebration on Saturday, December 7 from noon - 7 p.m.. It is approximately a 90 minute drive from Cleveland to Berlin.
"Christmas Down on the Farm" Located in the heart of Ohio Amish country, this year's "Christmas Down on the Farm" festivities will offer visitors a taste of an old-fashioned country Christmas. Free wagon rides will be available (weather permitting) and there will be plenty of strolling Victorian carolers to fill you with the Christmas spirit.
Santa will be present for a meet and greet and for photo opportunities.
There will be lots of fun activities for children under the age of 12 including icing cookies, decorating gingerbread houses, face painting and ornament making.
Refreshments and some activities will be offered at various nearby shops including 'Tis the Season, The Berlin Craft Mall, Gramma Fannie's Quilt Barn, Precious Petals, the Quail Hollow Candle Shop and Berlin Pets.
Admission to "Christmas Down on the Farm" is free but there are some minimal charges for some of the activities.
