We all love tips to make our life just a little bit more manageable. As your Dallas Household Tips Examiner I search for tips for myself and pass them along to my readers.
Even though north Texas has been unseasonable warm, believe it or not the Christmas season is here! Many enjoy decorating for Christmas and this time of year brings out so many beautiful decorations. You can spend hours decorating your home and tree, but the mood can quickly change if you are going to be in a constant battle with your cat, trying to keep him or her out of the Christmas tree.
If your cat won't leave your tree alone try this tip:
Place several fabric softener sheets under your tree skirt, and then replace them every few days. The waxy film on the dryer sheets discourages most cats because of its texture and strong scent. So the next time you are at the store grab an extra box of dryer sheets and give it a try, wasting one box of dryer sheets to keep your cat off your tree might just be worth it.
