Christmas Day NBA schedule 2013 includes five big games. Among the teams on the 2013 Christmas Day NBA schedule are the Miami Heat, LA Lakers, and New York Knicks. An updated report from ESPN on Tuesday (Dec. 24) has the closest game being that between the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors though. The odds favor the Warriors by just 2 1/2 points in the contest.
Several of the match-ups have been tarnished a bit by injuries unfortunately, with three of the biggest names in basketball likely to miss the day. Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers, Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, and Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks are all unlikely to play. Anthony suffered a sprained ankle on Monday (Dec. 23) that could keep him out of a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
ABC and ESPN will be providing the basketball coverage nearly all day, with the first game starting at 9 a.m. PT and the last one starting at 7:30 p.m. PT. It will keep basketball fans busy for the entire day with five games that could all be pretty interesting to see.
