During the holidays or any time, this easy recipe is the perfect way to make something enjoyable that is perfect for gifting or perfect for a buffet. With all the other cooking and baking that goes on, to make something so delicious in just a few minutes makes this a welcomed recipe indeed.

The Hershey Company – the makers of Rolo candies – now make Rolos without the wrappers. If you’re looking for a way to make this easy recipe even easier, look for the Rolos that are unwrapped. They are just a little smaller than the wrapped version, but they are the perfect size for these cookies.

If you want to make this recipe a bit more special, butter your pecans and toast them first. If you buy the unsalted version, you could even add a little (just a little) salt to the pecans right after they are toasted. (Just toss 1 ½ cups pecan halves with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, then spread the pecans in a single layer on a cookie sheet and place it in a preheated 350 degree oven – toast for 5 – 7 minutes or until aromatic.)

Easy Christmas Cookie Recipe

Ingredients for Easy Christmas Cookies:

  • White yogurt-coated pretzels
  • Rolo candies (chocolate-covered caramels)
  • Pecan halves

Directions for making Easy Christmas Cookies:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

On a cooled cookie sheet, place a layer of the yogurt-coated pretzels. On top of each pretzel, place an unwrapped Rolo candy. Put the cookie sheet in the oven for 2 minutes.

As soon as the cookie sheet is removed from the oven, place a pecan half on the top of each Rolo – pushing down just a little to adhere it to the Rolo. Let the cookie sheet cool completely – about 20 – 30 minutes. You are done!! Enjoy!!
