Saturday, on Clear Lake at 6:00p.m., The 49th Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade will take place. "Ring in the holidays with this Clear Lake tradition. More than 100,000 people traditionally enjoy this event from land and from hundreds of boats anchored throughout the Lake." The parade will feature more than 100 brightly decorated power and sailboats traveling through the Clear Lake channel from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon all the way to Galveston Bay. All weekend long in the Cy Fair Exhibit Center, The Cypress Creek Booster Club will be hosting it's annual "Cougar Christmas Market. All proceeds will benefit the students' animal project barn and scholarship fund. With 180 indoor booths, 150 merchants selling items ranging from home decor, holiday ornaments, clothing, gourmet foods, coffees & hot chocolates, organic olive oil, furniture, dolls, sports collectibles, soy candles, handmade soaps & lotions plus much more, you can't miss this event. "As you countdown to Christmas, this is a final chance to buy handcrafted items for those you love direclty from the people making them."
