Christmas Cards From Recycled Materials

Now is the time to get your Christmas and holiday cards in the mail to friends and family. Think about creating your own cards with recycled and upcycled paper and fabrics. You may not have enough time to make a handmade creation for everyone, but maybe a few special people can receive a one of a kind greeting. Maybe you didn't order enough photo cards of your family - making a few artistic cards can be a lovely gesture to supplement. Involve your kids and have them make cards for grandparents and teachers.

Gather a few materials such as:

  • brown grocery bags
  • ribbon
  • glitter and glitter pens
  • beads
  • fabric pieces
  • buttons
