Any candidate knows that throwing his or her hat into the ring, will bring scrutiny. American politics are arguably the biggest show on Earth. While the mere act of politicking for a slot will bring out the magnifying glass, actually winning will bring out a microscope. Such is the case of the newly chosen Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Delaware, Christine O’ Donnell.
Recently, O’Donnell cancelled an interview with Bob Schieffer, host of ‘Face the Nation,’ after a tape was found where she relayed to Bill Maher, that she “dabbled in witchcraft.” O’Donnell told the story of her date with a witch and being taken to a satanic altar with blood. The story brought out the ire of real witches, who worship nature, and not Satan.
Next came O’Donnell’s hands-off approach to masturbation. "The Bible says lust in your heart is committing adultery. So, you can't masturbate without lust.” O’Donnell continued, “you're going to be pleasing each other and if he already knows what pleases him and he can please himself, then why am I in the picture?" We’re not sure if she’s giving the masturbator a choice to have her present or it‘s better she leave, but let’s be polite and assume it’s a rhetorical question. . O’Donnell apparently believes in individual freedoms, except when it comes to individuals touching themselves.
Next up; mice with fully functioning human brains. "They are -- they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment," said O’Donnell. A mouse with a fully functioning human brain would be pretty cool, actually. The mouse would cease to be a pest. Humans could co-exist by having a dialogue with the educated rodent and possibly signing a territorial treaty, for example, charging the mouse for his portion of the rent.
November will be here soon enough. Will Americans usher in a new era of Victorians and conspiracy theorists, or will the voters focus on real issues? Only time will tell.

Now go back and be part of The Collective.
You're right. The "zombie sheep out there can't think for themselves."
Referring to the article you suggest, "injecting human embryonic stem cells into the brains of fetal mice inside the womb, scientists in California have created living mice with working human brain cells inside their skulls."
This, by not means, is not the same thing as stating "American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains."
Either O'Donnell has no problem intentionally misleading the public or she's an idiot. Either flaw would preclude her from public office in my book.
Got something to say?
