Christine McVie rejoins Fleetwood Mac

Christine McVie is once again a member of the pop-rock group Fleetwood Mac, according to Time magazine on Monday. She was a member of the group from 1970 until 1998 which includes the years in which they recorded their biggest hit recordings and put on spectacular concerts.

Christine McVie is a keyboardist and singer with the group. She also wrote some of the band’s most successful songs by having penned “Don’t Stop,” “Say You Love Me,” “Little Lies,” and “You Make Loving Fun.”

Christine McVie, 70, joined Fleetwood Mac shortly after marrying the group’s bassist, John McVie.

The band’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has said that it is hoped that there will be an announcement of a possible tour sometime this year.

The rumors of McVie rejoining the group started last Sept. when she joined the group for just once song during concerts in London on Sept. 25 and 27. She sang “Don’t Stop” with her former band mates at the O2 Arena.

Last year, the Fleetwood Mac Tour of 2013 was quite successful in that it grossed $62 million from 45 shows.
