If you can tear yourself away from the endless stream of cat videos on youtube, you will undoubtedly find a wide variety of gifted musicians posting covers of popular songs of all varieties. Christina Grimmie would be one of them, and would certainly be one of your favorites.

Grimmie has been a huge name in the youtube circuit for several years now. Looking at some of her earliest videos you will find a teenage girl playing piano in front of her proudly displayed Sonic the Hedgehog poster. Flash forward a few years, and that crazy talented teen is now an adult and is wowing crowds nationwide with her amazing voice.
For many contestants of The Voice, losing the competition means going home and starting over, albeit with slightly more exposure; but Christina Grimmie managed to get a lucky break.

Though she lost the competition to Team Usher's Josh Kauffman, Grimmie is not going home empty handed. At the beginning of the show Adam Levine announced that if Grimmie lost, he would sign her to his label 222 Records. Losing may have been a blessing in disguise for Grimmie as none of the prior Voice winners have achieved notable success.

With her 2.7 million YouTube fans, her newly gained Voice following, and her new music partner, the future looks bright for this talented artist. Be sure to catch Grimmie along with her fellow finalists on The Voice Tour starting this summer starting June 21. The tour will have stop in Phoenix at Comerica Theatre on July 24. Be sure to purchase your tickets from Live Nation.
