Christina Duxa FW12 is ultra feminine and wearable!

Fashion designers and fashionistas of Atlanta, take design inspiration from this ultra feminine Autumn/Winter 2012 La Vie en Rose collection by Christina Duxa as it debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin at the Kempinski Ballsaal on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

The Christina Duxa FW12 collection seems to have three categories – the on-trend upscale material range with gold, saffron orange, burgundy and plum, the Japanese kimono prints, and the neutral palette of black, and pale tones of cream and ecru, as featured in their evening gown collection in quite an assortment in designs.

Christina Duxa also features a pretty floral print inspired by Japan with ombré shading and blossoms – as though on a traditional Japanese kimono – used in an evening gown as well as daytime two-piece dress.

Duxa surprises with a bare-shouldered cream satin gown that has period costumes in mind, perhaps hundreds of years old, embellished with a satin flower at the bosom and ribbon ties on the arms.  The shoes worn by the model to complement the gown were metallic gladiator sandals rather than say, kitten heeled pumps or slippers.

More off-the-shoulder glam as another design featured Capri pants and a cropped jacket in cream brocade, chunky rosettes on the off-shoulder straps.

If that’s not enough, there is always her cream marabou dress with floral motif or the one-shoulder chiffon goddess gown that looks more like a sari with its toga chic.

Viewing the collection one easily walks away with an assessment of ultra feminine and wearable!
