The victory made Denny eligible to be a contestant for Miss Maryland. The winner of the Miss Maryland Pageant will represent her state at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City.
Denny is an ABA therapist and a 2012 graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, according to her Linked-in profile.
She has studied ballet and modeling, according to ExploreTalent.
She competed for Miss Maryland USA 2013 as Miss Owning Mills USA.
She was a preliminary swimsuit winner at the Miss Maryland 2012 Pageant.
Denny competed for Miss Maryland 2011 as Miss Potomac.
In 2008, she was a semifinalist in the Miss Maryland Teen USA Pageant.
The Miss Maryland Pageant is scheduled for June 16-23 at the Historic Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown.
The state pageant's goal is to "promote goodwill and publicity for the State of Maryland and promote, operate, and conduct entertainment for civic, charitable, and educational purposes," according to its website.
