Christina Aguilera's hairstylist reveals how to achieve her 'Marilyn' look

If you've been thinking that Christina looks a bit more Marilyn these days, there's a reason. Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii considers Christina his "modern day Marilyn Monroe," claiming that she "has all the curves, beauty, and gorgeous blonde-ness that the actress possessed." Babaii created his own interpretation of Marilyn's look by following these steps:

  1. Apply Big Sexy Hair Big Boost, an amplifying, texturizing, and defining cream which Babaii claims creates "touchable, flexible styles with voluminous results."
  2. Blow dry with a medium round brush to form lift at the base.
  3. Use a one-inch curling iron to create "loops" by wrapping sections around the inside of the barrel while leaving the ends free. Once you release each curl, curl the section again around two fingers and secure with a clip to allow curls to cool and set.
  4. Remove clips and comb through the hair with your fingers. Switch to a brush to lightly smooth the top layer of hair.
  5. To create volume, apply Big Sexy Hair Powder Play to roots and massage in. Babaii claims this is the "fastest and easiest way to get big sexy hair in a few seconds!"
  6. As the final touch, spray Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play to leave hair manageable and shiny.
