After the release of a lengthy thank you letter to fans last night, pop singer Christina Aguilera followed it up on Thursday with a special music video she filmed for "Let There Be Love." The self-made video sees Aguilera spreading messages of love and acceptance.
Aguilera wrote a heartfelt letter to her fans last night, thanking them for always sticking by her side. Speculation arose as to why she included "Let There Be Love," an electro-pop song from "Lotus" that hit no. 1 on Billboard's dance chart earlier this year, in the letter's title. It can now be confirmed that she shot a self-made video for the fan-favorite as a further thank you.
The "Let There Be Love" video opens with Xtina once again thanking fans for all the support they've given her throughout the years. "This one is just for you," she says. The "Beautiful" singer holds a sign with the song's title and shows all of her friends with similar loving signs. Aguilera also expresses her support for the gay community with her out and proud friends standing by their accepting parents. The candid clip leads to some fun times in West Hollywood where Aguilera serves up some fierce hair flips. Her friend Nicole Richie and son Max also make some cute appearances. It's all love coming from a good place.
Aguilera's "Lotus" album was released last year in November and peaked at no. 7 on Billboard.
