Christina Aguilera has never seemed overly concerned about fitting in with the cookie-cutter “Hollywood thin club,” but she has usually maintained a healthy, curvier figure instead. She can admit that she has had her share of weight fluctuations, but right now, she is more slimmed down and toned up than ever. With her appearing on the October Maxim magazine cover, people may be quick to assume that her new fit figure is the result of a hardcore workout routine. However, according to a Huffington Post article dated Friday, September 6, Aguilera isn’t exactly a gym rat.
When it comes to her daily routine, the 32-year-old Grammy winner says, “If I can squeeze in a workout, great. If not, that’s OK too.”
Aguilera credits her 5-year-old son Max with helping her keep in shape.
“Running around with him all day is pretty good exercise.”
She may not fret about missing a workout, but she obviously doesn’t live a sedentary lifestyle either. Though chasing around her son can’t hurt her figure, one doesn’t exactly develop bulging abs from doing so. The superstar also didn’t mention her daily diet which probably accounts for a great deal in this equation as well. It is a known fact that though exercise is very important, it is secondary to what we are putting into our bodies.
Nonetheless, even famous people need a day off from the never-ending battle we all face.
‘The Voice’ judge can be seen turning around….or not turning around in her red chair on the show’s fifth season which kicks off on September 23.
