Christina Aguilera gave birth to her baby girl on Saturday and announced her daughter’s name to Facebook and other social media outlets on Sunday. Named after the season she was born in, Summer Rain Rutler is Xtina’s second child.

“So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world,” Aguilera tweeted following the birth of her new baby this weekend. According to Us Weekly Summer Rain was born on Saturday, August 16 via C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Christina and fiancé Matt Rutler celebrated their baby shower in July with a very graphic cake of a blonde mother giving birth.

Shortly after the February announcement of her engagement to film producer Matt Rutler, whom she has been involved with since 2010, Christina Aguilera proclaimed new baby news. The baby’s sex was later revealed in March. Jordan Bratman is the 33-year-old Grammy winner’s first husband and father to six-year-old Max, Summer Rain’s big brother. The couple divorced in April of 2011.

Christina Aguilera’s svelte figure made headlines in 2013 as she began another season as judge for “The Voice.” The “Beautiful” singer proudly displayed her growing baby bump in a series of nude photographs for V Magazine and declared her confidence in her changing body, "As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.”

Season seven of "The Voice" premieres on NBC September 22 with Gwen Stefani sitting in as judge and mentor for new mommy Christina Aguilera. According to E! News Xtina hasn’t revealed the baby’s weight or length. Christina is currently working on a new album and plans to return to season eight of “The Voice."
