Christina Aguilera showed off her jaw-dropping 40-pound weight loss on The Tonight Show Sept. 18. Aguilera wore a body-hugging black mini-dress that accentuated her tiny waist and toned legs.
The blonde bombshell, who has lost 40 pounds since April 2013, not only looks great, but says she feels better than ever.
"I'm 32 and I feel sexier than ever," Aguilera gushed. "I'm an artist, and expressing myself in a sexual way, no matter how that changes throughout the years, is something that has always come naturally to me."
Aguilera said she has gotten more self-confident as she has gotten older. "Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do," she said. "Sexiness should be effortless. I'm such a down-to-earth girl, I'm comfortable in just a jersey and boy's underwear."
Aguilera has undergone a stunning weight-loss transformation from her heaviest weight in September 2012. The small-boned, 5-foot-2 Christina gained a noticeable amount of weight in 2010, around the time she split from her music producer-husband Jordan Bratman.
Since then, Aguilera has been called too fat by radio shock jock Howard Stern and made headlines for her disheveled, bloated appearance at a 2011 Michael Jackson tribute concert. While the Grammy winner had insisted she loved her fuller figure, she now looks dramatically thinner than she has in years.
In May 2008, Aguilera revealed her pride at shedding 40 pounds just four months after giving birth to son Max. Christina shed the baby weight by combining cardiovascular workouts and weight-lifting for 90 minutes a day, five days a week, and following a diet high in protein and vegetables.
"As you feel your body getting stronger, you become more motivated to be in the gym," she said. "When you’re defined, it’s sexy. I exercise because it makes me feel good. It’s not just a physical thing."
