Christina Aguilera, Cher to co-star in movie

Christina Aguilera and Cher are set to co-star in a movie titled “Burlesque,” according to IMDb Pro.

In the movie, Christina portrays a young, small-town woman who moves to Los Angeles and becomes part of the burlesque scene.

Cher and Christina appear to be the only two cast in the movie, so far. The movie may not be released until 2011.

Other than being a regular on an  updated version of the Mickey Mouse Club, Christina’s primary experience with film has been supplying songs for soundtracks.

Cher, on the other hand, won Best Actress in a Leading Role for “Moonstruck” and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for “Silkwood.”
