Christian Writer's Literary Festival in Baltimore today (complete schedule)

For book lovers today is a day filled with Christian books, discussion and fellowship. The 2013 Christian Writer's Literary Festival will take place today, December 14, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Central Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, Md.

This free literary experience will offer Christian book lovers the opportunity to purchase Christian books (fiction and non-fiction), attend themed panel discussions and workshops, and connect with others who are interested in using writing as a tool for Christian ministry.

Bishop Monroe Saunders, Jr., the senior pastor at Transformation Church of Jesus Christ, will serve as the keynote speaker and Bishop Darneal Johnson, the pastor at Living Word Ministries will serve as the Masters of Ceremony.

Co-sponsors of this event include Manna Expressions, LLC and the 5th Annual African American Authors Expo. Other special guests include Deanna Davis Garlic, CEO & Founder of FOCUSED Plans and Christian recording artist, Nicois.

10:45 a.m. - 11:05 a.m. - Writing as a Tool for Christian Ministry Part 1 Panel Discussion includes Pastor Kevin Wayne Johnson, Mary Detweiler, Quiniece Sheppard, and Dr. Andrea Dardello.
11:15 a.m. - 11:35 a.m. - Christian Fiction: Stories that Harvest Souls for Christ Panel Discussion includes Hattye C. Knight, Pamala Mintz, Dr. A'ndrea Wilson, and Sherryle Kiser Jackson.
11:45 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. - Healing Words: Part 1 Panel Discussion includes Vincent Adams, Andrea Freeman, Bishop Kia Everett, and Demetria "Dee" Grissett.

1:50 p.m. - 2:25 p.m. - Getting to WOW (Women of Wisdom) Panel Discussion includes Annette E. Morton, Lynette Harrison, Leslie Howard and Lisa Jeanette.
2:30 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. - Writing as a Tool for Christian Ministry - Part 2 Panel Discussion includes Sandra McCoy, Joy E. Turner, Ondrea Davis, and Donna Jennifer Ross.
2:55 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. - Healing Words- Part 2 Panel Discussion includes Dr. Steven Haymon, Kimberly Armstrong, Dr. LaWanna Harrod and Leroy McKenzie, Jr.
3:20 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. - My Words Become My Praise Workshop facilitated by Christian recording artist, Nicois.
3:50 p.m. -4:10 p.m. - Introduction to the African American Author's Expo (AAAE) Workshop facilitated by Patricia Johnson featuring Ashanti Kenyatta and Marcia Gethers.

Attendees can help the homeless in Baltimore by donating new personal hygiene items (i.e. bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, shaving cream, dental floss, sanitary napkins, tampons, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, Gold Bond powder, hand sanitizer, lotion, cologne, perfume, pajamas, socks, undershirts, underwear) for distribution to the Karis Home and the Baltimore Rescue Mission.
