Carman Domenic Licciardello, known to his fans simply as “Carman,” will be in concert on March 9, 2013, in Cerritos, California. The event will be held at the Crossroads Multinational Church of The Nazarene from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Carman recently announced he has a form of cancer for which there is not a cure. He says he has Myeloma Cancer, which attacks your immune system and makes you vulnerable to every sickness floating around. Doctors give him three to four years.
He announced that he has cancer in a February Facebook update to his fans, “I want you all to know that I will continue to minister and win souls until I can't do it any longer. My life has always been about ministry. I have a call of God to touch lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that's what I will do until the Lord calls me home.”
He continued, “But I want to encourage you, if you can, to please come see me the next time I'm in your area. Bring someone who doesn't know the Lord or who needs to be healed. I will always pray for the sick and I'm also going to step up the intensity of my message at these events.
“I will not leave this world quietly and I want the devil to know that he put cancer on absolutely the wrong Italian. I have a few good years and before it's too late I want to see your faces, shake your hands and hug your necks. But mostly I want to see one of you get healed of what threatens your future and I really want to see someone you love come to Christ.”
In a statement issued a few days ago, he reaffirmed his desire to continue with his ministry. “With each new post your speaking life back into me and I thank you a millions times over. You’re all the best and you give me the passion to fight. My commitment to continue ministering is resolute.
“I'm planning my attack now on the kingdom of darkness and Satan will regret the day he rang MY doorbell. I'll keep you posted as I know more. But know this: I love you all and survive from your support more than ever. God will turn this around for his Glory. I don't know how yet but I promise you I'll be there when he does. God bless you all.”
