Myeloma attacks the immunization system and makes the body extremely vulnerable to sickness.
Carman used his Facebook page to make the announcement to his 51,000 followers and asked for prayer. He said in his post that he would continue to minister and win souls for the kingdom of God until he couldn’t do it anymore.
Carman disclosed that he has already begun the process of fighting the cancer which included a bone marrow transplant. The results of the bone biopsy and new blood test will be done March 4-6 according to Carman.
Fans are asked not to post cancer remedies or treatments, but instead are urged by Carman to come see him when he is in their area and to bring someone who doesn’t know Christ or needs divine healing.
Carman has been a powerful performer in his concerts and has produced 15 gold and platinum albums and videos. He has sold more than 15 million records featuring gospel songs about salvation, redemption and the grace of God.
The Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) and its flagship program Praise the Lord has provided Carman with ministering opportunities on television and he has used both venues to preach the word of God through his music.
Carman is one of the most successful performers in contemporary Christian music. He was born Carman Dominic Licciardello on January 19, 1956.
