Since the local media hides and distorts reality about the persecution and treatment of Christians in the Middle East, and the international Media fails to report regularly and accurately, Mideast Christian News (MCN) will attempt to make a difference. International, as well as U.S. news organizations seem to focus on regional conflicts, MCN will attempt to change that.
MCN notes that there is a severe need for professional coverage especially in the New Islamic Era that's starting in the region. MCN's aim is to fill this gap they said in a press release today.
MCN was officially launched on January 7, 2013 and is an independent agency NOT affiliated with any local, regional, or international organizations. MCN says they will strive to provide timely news, cover stories, reports, interviews, photos and videos, both in English, targeting the international media, Governmental Organizations and NGOs, and Arabic, targeting local and regional media.
MCN has its own team of professional correspondents, journalists, photographers, cinematographers and editors in the Middle East. The international main office is located in Washington D.C.
Perhaps now we will receive more news, as well as accurate news about the persecution, and treatment of Christians in the Middle East.
